I completed my first lecture series, Bill Mounce's Life is a Journey over at Biblical Training, i immensely profited by it, and jumping in now with Bert Downs' Bible Survey. Getting these core foundations courses dealt with first. Too often in the past, i'd think "Man, i wanna get to the advanced stuff, i can't wait for the stuff that would go over the heads of most believers" ... talk about silly talk!!
When able i will for sure be donating to Biblical Training, as with all resources which help.
I know that i had here before said i was gonna for the most part stop much of my activity here, but sometimes like now, i just gots to speak up, a HUGE thanks to Bill Mounce, and the whole Biblical Training teachers and site, i may be putting on hold all the great teaching at John Knox Institute for awhile, it's just that good!!
Combined with the readings, Ligioner, and putting into practice these learned things, not by my strength, is actually changing my life and at least my dad's life, which then is going to other people my dad has a friendship with, and as i grow and develop connections i pray that God works through me too, and that i will NOT fall prey to any sort of pride, and if so that i quickly repent and re-orient my thinking.
