Lebanese Society for Educational & Social Development :: The Peace Prayer
These organizations have a joint campaign going on to provide relief for persecuted Christians in the Middle East. My family has been looking for a way to contribute meaningfully to helping this crisis, and this seemed like a solid possibility. I realize that both of these organizations claim to be broadly Christian and not specifically Reformed, but I wasn't sure if anyone here had any knowledge of whether either of these organizations are legitimate or have significant reasons to object to them as Christian organizations.
All I have been able to find thus far is that LSESD seemed to be primarily tied to Baptists rather than Presbyterians, but I don't think I'll hold that against them....
I am also open to suggestions about other organizations who would be decent options for contributing to the relief of this crisis if you have reasons to think the above organizations may be objectionable.
