Hello,
I just wanted to bring this to the attention of the board members, in case there is anyone out there interested in learning Latin via Wheelock's text.
There is a site online (quasillum.com) that offers Latin and Greek study groups, where the person leading the group assigns reading and questions from the text, and collates all of the participants' answers for everyone to compare with their own work.
In mid-April, a new study is beginning using Wheelock's textbook 7th ed., and LaFleur's Scribblers, Sculptors, and Scribes, that will last 3 years. It is geared toward those who have the usual time constraints of life, hence the 3 year period.
If you are interested or have any questions, you can email Meredith Dixon at
[email protected]
They are looking for 20 people in order to start.
I would really like to do this, but I am unsure if I can manage the time with a young family.
