Going to start a sermon series on Revelation

We are near finishing the Gospel of Mark, and I asked the Lord what I should preach on next. It strongly came on my heart to preach through Revelation again. Providentially, I recently purchased a new set of books: Revelation: A Manual of Spiritual Warfare: Expository Sermons on the Book of Revelation, by Max Doner.

It is timely – greatly needed in these days. I pray the LORD grant me another year to live (just started my 83rd year in this life); last time I preached on it it took a little over 12 months.

Our pastors have been preaching through Revelation since August. We are up to Revelation 14 and taking a break for the Christmas and Easter Folks that just come by a few times a year.

I hope no one's offended, but I'm a casual dresser – I've forsaken the American business costume. And slightly embarrassed as I'm not a great preacher, especially at my age; I rely greatly on 2 Cor 12:9,10.

I'll give notice here when I start on Revelation. It may be a couple of months, as I still have Mark 15 and 16 to preach through.

And I'll have a visiting preacher from the U.K. fill in for me two weeks in the beginning of May.
