I have not read Greg Johnson's book, so that imposes the usual constraints in evaluating this review. It does seem like a careful and well-reasoned analysis of the book, pointing out the subjectivism, revisionism, and unorthodox methodology behind GJ's arguments. I'd recommend this review for those interested in the topic but lacking the time to dig more deeply into it.
