Has anyone read this book by Bruce Demarest?

[GulfCoast Presbyterian]

"The Cross and Salvation: The Doctrine of Salvation" It was recomended to me as a good historical/short systematic theology of salvation, that comes down very reformed. Before I plop down the coin and tackle several hundred pages of this subject, I wondered if anyone here had read it?

Any thoughts?

Have not read it, but can confirm he is a TE in good standing in the Presbytery of the West, and a very well respected professor at Denver Seminary.

I haven't read the whole thing, only the portion regarding limited atonement, which he teaches against.
