For those interested, I have completed two articles on the Standards of the Assembly, and the History behind the Independent and Presbyterian debate on Church Government.

I think the History of the Assembly is sorely neglected, and in my own studies I have learned "tons" that I wish I had known about 15 or 20 years ago. I feel "cheated" by seminary for withholding and not introducing us to this information.

I hope they are of help (more to come).

I know the Westminster Assembly minutes are still in print. Does anyone know how easy they are to read through? Or is it chaos on paper, much like todays GA minutes?

Chaos on paper baby!

I've read through some of them in the past. You must have patience and purpose to read them. If you read them for leisure, it could be a tough nut to crack.

I think SWRB has them. I have to get them for my dissertation, so I will let you know what I find out, and how much they are.
