How Do you Imbed Video to see a video play on the board?

I know how to a put a hyperlink to a video. I know how to put an embedded hyperlink to a video on another page (like YouTube).

How do you get a video to play here at the Puritanboard?

In other words, I've seen some of you post an actual playing video in a post.

How is that done? I can't seem to figure it out.

I just take the url from youtube and click on the video tab just left of the quote tab and paste it in the box.

I've always thought of you as being very tech-savvy. So coming from you, this question is kinda funny.

But in answer to your question, I'm not sure. The control panel above the text window has a "Insert Video" icon. You used to be able to click on that icon and it would give you options for embedding or posting the URL. But now you can do that, but it will not put the video in the post. So something has changed and I'm not sure what.

So hopefully someone on the board will have an answer for the both of us.

That doesn't work for me. And I'm guessing it doesn't for Br. Matthew either.

I had to go into a post and edit a posted video to see the code.

I get it. I was posting the wrong HTML information instead of just the link itself.
