I am looking for good book summaries for every book of the Bible, what should I read?

Hello, brothers

I would like to write my own summaries for each book of the Bible. I plan on using a few resources of course, but as you know, there's an abundance of summaries out there to choose from. What would you recommend I read? What has helped you the most in understanding a books message and theme?

What about the one volume IVP New Bible Commentary? It has summaries for each book of the Bible plus you get concise commentaries. Might be overkill for what you are looking for, however.

These may be of use, and they are free. I havent dived much deep into them, but of what I read they were pretty popular back in the day. They are one of the resources in theWord and E-Sword.

College Press Bible Study Textbook Series.

Check out "A Divine Tapestry" by Ryan McGraw. It has a summary of every chapter of the Bible.
Also, "Family Worship Bible Guide" from RHB might be helpful.

I found Survey of the Old Testament by Jack B. Scott to be helpful. I believe there is a NT Survey, as well as volumes for individual books.
