Has anyone seen this Todd Haynes film released last month? "I'm Not There is an unconventional journey into the life and times of Bob Dylan. Six actors portray Dylan as a series of shifting personae - from the public to the private to the fantastical - weaving together a rich and colorful portrait of this ever-elusive American icon."
Although he did personally give Haynes the permission to make the film as well as the rights to the music for that end, Dylan himself is nowhere in the movie apart from his music; that makes the title quite ironic, which comes from a song that (until now) was only heard on a bootleg version of the studio album from which it was pulled before release.
There are two neat trailers on the official site I linked above. I have yet to see this film, but am definitely looking forward to it. Any reviews or general thoughts from people (fans or otherwise) who have seen it?
