I had an email from Amazon.com this morning that [ame="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0802807747/ref=snp_dp"]Institutes of the Christian Religion: 1541 French Edition[/ame] in English will be available in mid-March and can be pre-ordered.
That's interesting but I don't know what value it would be to read an older version of the Institutes rather than the "mature fruit" unless somebody was interested to see Calvin's theological development between this version and his final work.
The 1541 French edition was supposed to be a real keeper, Rich. Getting it in English will be a nice edition to a lot of libraries. But, I agree that the 1559 is the bestest of them all.
