Isaiah 45:7 (NIV)
Our distant neighbor we hear cry,
for thousands of her children crushed.
Despite the fact we want to save,
LORD, Your decrees will not be rushed.
Our Nation's laws disappoint us.
Shall we respond with hate or doom?
How does that really matter much,
When Yours is the pow'r to consume?
Anguished hearts look up to praise You,
despite earthly devastation,
confident a flood of souls will
enter heaven's habitation.
Help us to see that it's Mercy,
by Your Mighty Hand nations quake.
Love's not for the most deserving.
Use it all for your glory's sake.
