Question about two gentlemen named in the forward to A.W. Pink's book "Sovereignty of God".

J.B. Moody and Dr. Rice.

They are mentioned in the forward and a parishioner asked me who they were, I having no idea came to the P.B. to find out.

I guess Dr. Rice is Nathan Lewis Rice (1807-1877), American Presbyterian, author of God Sovereign and Man Free, and other works. Lorraine Boettner also quoted him in The Reformed Doctrine of Predestination.
