I have heard several people mention that Jesus' beard was plucked out during the scourging. I'm sure that it is not in the gospels, what is the source for this?

It was in a prophecy from Isaiah 50:6.

I thought it must be from the OT. I made the mistake of searching with the word "beard" and the KJV does not use that word in the passage.
