I wasn't sure if this fit best in the apologetic or theological section, but I chose theological. When you are discussing the issues of pain, evil, joy, etc., and the non-believer says, "We can only know good, because of evil." Or, "We can only know joy in contrast to suffering." What would you say? This would lead to Adam and Eve being joyful, etc.
