Law Elective Class Suggestions

I'm registering for my Fall semester next week and I have 4 required courses that I have to take. I have room for an elective though, and I'm going to try to go for Trial Advocacy so I can wipe the floor with people in Mock Trial in the Spring. :p

However, it's a 3L class and I'm a 2L, so I might not be able to get in, in which case, I'll take another elective.

So far, I have decided to focus some on trial practice, and a lot on commercial law. Is this a good, practical decision that will translate well into the "real world", or should I focus my elective education into other areas of law that would be more beneficial?

My aim is to make myself practically effective, to the extent that one can be from mere schooling, and avoid things like Family, Divorce, or Tax law. (shudders at the last).

Any suggestions elders?
