Rev. Dr. Rowland Ward has posted the following to several forums:

World-renown New Testament scholar Leon Morris died on Monday in
Melbourne aged 92. The funeral is from Holy trinity Anglican Church
Doncaster next Monday at 10.30am.

Brief bio. Leon Lamb Morris - conservative evangelical New Testament
scholar with a generally Reformed approach to interpretation. Sometime
Warden of Tyndale House, Cambridge. Retired as principal of Ridley
College, Melbourne Australia in 1979, founder of the Evangelical
Alliance of Victoria, and author of 51 books. His works center on
Christ's atonement, and he is known for focusing on the concerns of
pastors and laymen regardless of the trends of academia. Morris also
helped produce the NIV and ESV Bible versions.

Titles include: The Apostolic Preaching of the Cross; The Atonement: Its
Meaning and Significance; The Cross in the New Testament; New Testament
Theology; Tyndale New Testament Commentary series (Ed.); and
commentaries on Matthew, Luke, John, Romans, 1 Corinthians, Galatians,
Ephesians, 1-2 Thessalonians, Hebrews, and Revelation.

He was a Valiant for Truth.

I am recently acquired The Atonement, Its Meaning & Significance by Morris. Even the parts where I disagree with him are helpful. He developes his position on points of doctrine and understanding of Scripture with a great deal of clarity.
