Linking to Sites from Puritanboard Threads

I had a couple of bad experiences this week. I don't remember what the link was, but I noticed that I got a lot of popups and there were some things that were questionable. After that I started getting spammed on the average of 1-3 times a day.

I also learned that it is especially unwise to take links appearing on the Member LIst page, particularly for applicants in "Not approved" status. There are some very unscrupulous persons attempting to create Puritanboard accounts.

Because of this, from now on I'm going to be very cautious about taking hyperlinks from here.

Why would you go to a link on a members account that was not approved anyways? Many times, that is the reason they have not been approved; in the future, I will delete those devils!

Scott, you're absolutely right - good point. But I will certainly appreciate your endeavor to police 'em up.
