My wife purchased a Whisper Mill a few months back as well as a rather large mixer. We mill our own wheat for flour, use Sucanot instead of sugar, use Tupelo (raw) honey, etc., etc. to make the bread, muffins, pancakes, noodles, etc.

It tastes so good. The noodles took one time to get used to but now I don't want to go back!

She got a lot of her ideas, recipes, appliances from:
Bread Beckers

It is a Christian company based, I guess, in Georgia.

I'm quite a few of you do this as well.

Interesting site. We haven't gotten into milling flour but we do make 99% of our own bread using the Zojirushi machine (an older model). 311 loaves since March 2002 - not exactly McBarfo's numbers but we know what we're putting into it.

I'll bookmark it and look over the recipes and foodstuffs.
