Making youtube links mp3?

I used to know a number of sites that translate youtube links to mp3s (great for getting theological lectures). Now, all the sites that I know, when it downloads the link, has the link as an .exe file instead of an mp3 file. .exe just seems like another way to say malware. What is a reliable site that downloads youtube links without putting spyware on the computer?

I've used YouTube mp3 successfully many times (it just happened to come up first in a Google search for "youtube mp3" a long time ago and I've never found a reason to try another).

During install there's a portable mode too. Pretty straight forward to use, enter youtube url, analyze url to find audio/video feeds available, select audo/video quality from dropdown list, download feed. The file saves with the extension selected, if mp3 quality, the file will be -> blahblahblah.mp3.

The converter should reduce some file sizes. If the feed is of lower quality, don't bother with up converting - useless - you can't get higher quality from a lower quality source. The modes can be toggled from the icons.
