A poster on another site I use, frequently posts to the effect that the Reformed churches should read and accept the views put forward in this book. I've looked at his website and see he is an episcopalian (but so was JC Ryle), though the picture of baby Jesus is a concern. I've looked at the book on Amazon, despite the picture of Jesus on the front cover. As far as I can tell from the table of contents, he draws a distinction between the Jesus of history and Christ. This reminded me of the plethora of "New Age" works about the good man j
Jesus and the rascal Christ.

I could buy the book and find out what he is really saying. But it seems a waste of money, always a bit limited, and a waster of time - much more important as it would take time away from my reading of Shaw on the WCF.

I don't want to start a "what do we think of Z" type thread as I don't like them. But I would appreciate some ideas as to his objective position.
