Mentor needed

Puritan Board Freshman
I have been trying to apply for the Log College and Seminary (ex-TNARS) for a couple of years now, but have been having difficulties finding a suitable mentor. I live in Argentina, and those that could have helped, don’t speak any English; others have very different confessions (the reformed confessions aren’t very popular over here).
I’ve been told I could find trustworthy and helpful mentors in this board. If anyone is able/willing to help me in this, I’ll be in your debt.
In Christ,

In Christ,
Are you in Buenos Aires?

In Christ,
I was looking for a Proctor for CBTS here in the United States for about a year and gave up. I’d love to help you but I don’t have any letters beside my name. Best of luck in your search!

In Christ,
Which degree program are you hoping to apply to?

In terms of finding a mentor, you could speak to Pastor Guillermo Maldonado at Iglesia Sin Heng in Belgrano. He speaks English and attended the Covenant Seminary of the PCA in St Louis. I met him when I was studying in Buenos Aires.
I’ll check it out. Been there many times, never saw that church though. I’ll get in touch with them this week.

This is just a suggestion; and I do not know your finances; but Forge Theological Seminary is a Reformed non-accredited online seminary; much like Log is, that is $60 a month, USD + Books. Many, if not all of the books you will be able to find used for very cheap. This seminary gives you the choice of providing your own mentor, or, they will provide one for you at no cost. You will have to practice patience though, as many of the staff are also working professors and pastors. There is no fee to apply. I will most likely attend here, Lord willing, once I get done finishing the editing projects I have committed to. I previously attended, and found the process seamless; but stepped away as at the time I was working on Puritan Search and found it difficult to do both.
