Mytrophyllum sheds its skin

Well no work today so the camera came out. This one is about 4 years old from seed, and while it's only an inch or so tall, it finally shed it's skin. Where it comes from it forms a layer of dead skin to protect it from the summer sun, and after the first fall rains (provided my me and a hose) it sheds. It reminds me of a snake or lizard. Cool little thing..
