What happened to the ability to see the names of those who find posts helpful?

no, there hasn't
In any case I think I use the "helpful" button exactly as I did the "thanks" one. Maybe there should be a definite difference but if so I'm not picking up on it!
the main difference I notice is a certain disinclination to bother pressing it, since no-one will even know it was me. But I mustn't go on about that - I know it really is not the fault of the little men inside the screen (that means you, Rich)
