Have you ever been waiting and hoping some day someone will publish that Presbyterian/Reformed/Puritan book you’ve longed to have a good new copy of? Well, here is an opportunity to help sponsor development of new editions of Reformed, Presbyterian and Puritan titles, some still in manuscript never before published, some never before in English. Consider sponsoring Naphtali Press Special Editions (NPSE). Each year sponsors receive all titles funded and produced, are recognized “in the book in the sponsor section in front,” receive the special custom Sponsor bookplate for that year, and other items if sponsoring at a “plus” or higher level.

We just completed the first year of the series 2019-20 with the first volume of 3 of a new critical edition of James Durham's Commentary on Revelation, a new critical edition of one of the most lauded works on biblical church government, Jus Divinum Regiminis Ecclesiastici, or the divine right of church government, and just approved the proofs and sent to the press a volume of David Dickson's sermons on Jeremiah's Lamentations which survived in manuscript but had never before been published. Reformation Heritage Books is the copubisher and handles the production and order side of things, but to research, edit, translate, create titles, NPSE relies on an annual sponsorship, which made those three titles possible. For the 2020-21 series year the plan is to do volume 2 of Durham on Revelation (vol. 1 came on May 2020), volume 1 of the shorter writings of George Gillespie (projected 2 or 3 volumes, some things from manuscript and others not included in the old collected Works, which are quite defective), and a first time translation of Gisbertus Voetius on the Sabbath and Feast Days (to be translated by David Noe; this is a very important work, and due to the length and cost we have a separate drive just to raise the funds for the translation work).

Take a look at fuller information at the link and take advantage of 3, 6 and 12 month installment plans, which make USA regular level sponsorship as low as $17, the workhouse level of sponsorship, and even the highest level within reach for those with discretionary funds; we've had one sponsor the Durham v2 at the copublisher level. The first several weeks of the funding drive have been promising, and we just hit the halfway point for the general funding, but we have the other half to go and are only a quarter of the way on the funding for the Voetius translation work. This is a worthwhile endeavor; consider lending your support via becoming an annual sponsor. https://www.naphtali.com/npse-2/npse2/
