My pastor wrote a book on the doctrine of justification by faith alone and it was recently published. You can buy it from Amazon.com. Here is the link: [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Free-Justification-Glorification-Christ-Sinner/dp/0977226298/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1204495588&sr=1-1]Amazon.com: Free Justification: The Glorification of Christ in the Justification of a Sinner: Steve Fernandez: Books[/ame]

How about secondary literature? Does he know about Justification and Variegated Nomism; Covenant, Justification, and Pastoral Ministry; By Faith Alone; Justification, What's at Stake; Justification in Perspective; Justification and the New Perspective(s) on Paul; The Gospel of Free Acceptance in Christ? There are more, of course, but those are some of the more important recent books.

In the footnotes, he makes reference to Justification and Variegated Nomism, Counted Righteous in Christ by Piper, The Works of John Owen, Trust and Obey by John Armstrong, Faith and Life by Warfield, The Race Set Before Us by Schreiner and Caneday, The Doctrine of Justification by Buchanan, What Saint Paul Really Said by N.T. Wright, By Faith, Not by Sight by Gaffin, and some others.
