Christian Preacher
I've decided, unless something special happens, that I'm going to buy books once a year. The exception would be that there is a limited time offer (like with the Geneva Bible I just recieved.)

This is what I purchased:

An Exposition of the Prophecy of Hosea By Jeremiah Burroughs
The Puritan Pulpit: James Ussher (Volume 2 of the English Puritans) By James Ussher
The Reformation: A Handbook By Thomas Lindsay
A Scottish Christian Heritage By Iain Murray
The Art of Living to God By Adriaan C. Neele
Puritan Pulpit By Ebenezer Pemberton
The Covenant Theology of Casper Olevianus By Lyle D. Bierma
Reformed Dogmatics, Vol. 3: Sin and Salvation in Christ By Herman Bavinck
The Unaccommodated Calvin By Richard A. Muller
Covenant Theology in Reformed Perspective By Mark W. Karlberg
Reformed Dogmatics By Heinrich Heppe

Of these, I am starting with The Art of Living to God By Adriaan C. Neele.
This is a study that deals with the post-Reformation Reformed concern for right doctrine and piety found in Peter Van MAstricht's work, "Theoretico-practica theologia".

Anybody read this or have this? Its the only book I know of outside of the great work Don Kister put out on "Regeneration" by Van Mastricht. (Which is one of my all-time favorite books).

What? No Meet the Puritans by Beeke and Pederson? For shame...

The Covenant Theology of Casper Olevianus By Lyle D. Bierma
I read this and found it to be very, very good! (It was recommended by one of my professors at MARS.) I also recommend God & Adam: Reformed Theology and The Creation Covenant by Rowland S. Ward. Both are real treasures.
