The orthodox, catholic doctrine of God is under attack in "Reformed" circles nowadays. Two aspects of theology proper that appear to be subjected to the most sustained attacks, whether overtly or covertly, are the doctrines of divine simplicity and divine impassibility (though I believe both these dogmas stand or fall together).

In relation to the impassibility of God, I notice that some new books have been recently released. These include Samuel Renihan's God without Passions: A Primer; and his sourcebook God without Passions: A Reader. An edited collection has also been published entitled, Confessing the Impassible God: The Biblical, Classical, & Confessional Doctrine of Divine Impassibility.
