I just saw that there is a new translation of the 1541 edition of Calvin's Institutes done by Robert White. There is another translation of the 1541 edition which has been available for a while translated by Elsie Ann McKee. Both are translations from Calvin's French edition. I would be interested if anyone has an opinion on the merits of the two translators and which would be the preferred edition. I know that White's edition is just out but would be quite interested on any thoughts on the two editions.
