Puritan Board Doctor
This past Wednesday, November 15th, marked the 100th anniversary of Chambers's death (of complications following an appendectomy, at the age of 41).

I know he was Pentecostal, not Reformed but, like his fellow Pentecostal, A. W. Tozer (1897-1963), he was an intelligent man who was a fairly gifted writer. Although not Reformed, he had (in the stopped-clock-right-twice-a-day sense) some interesting things to say now and again, theologically.

He is best known for his book, My Utmost for His Highest - a book not written by him, but consisting of texts culled from his writings by his widow and published in 1935, nearly 20 years after his death.

Any opinions out there about Chambers and/or his book, 100 years after his death?
