OT Temple: In the Holy of Holies was the presence of God, God the Father?

Was God the Father the Person of the Trinity who dwelled in the sanctuary (Holy of Holies) --> Exodus 25:8 "And let them make me a sanctuary, that I may dwell in their midst."

Or would you say all three Persons?

Seems to me it would be the Father, but just checking to make sure. For Christ opens up the way into the Holy of Holies (as the mediator), thus granting us access to God (the Father).

Am I wrong or on the right track?

Seems to me that there are times when our best course of action is to let the unity of God get the emphasis, in certain OT contexts especially. If we try to read the OT at every point referencing God as referring to One of the Trinity, then we are verging on unwarranted importation.

Having said that, I continue to favor the principle that the Second Person (God the Son) is the consistent expression of the invisible God (the Father) throughout the Scriptures. So, if the glory-cloud filled the Temple, it was a manifestation of the Divinity, through the agency of the Second Person.
