Psalms of Solomon, part 2 : Psalms 72127, Remembering the work of the Lord.
A mnemonic with the Lord reign and work at center

Solomon once wrote that proverbial wisdom was a riddle
back to the riddle: Flying a 727 through the friendly skies is cool, flying a Psalms 72127 through the heavenlies is just better

Huh?

What might that have to do with Solomon, who reigned in peace and prosperity
and built the house for the Lord

Answer?

Two Psalms of or from Solomon
split 72127
into 72 and 127

Psalm 72 is about the Lord's reign
The Lord will reign forever, Solomon was a glimpse and preview of a greater reign
End of book 2
Fulfillment of the prayers of David
The author and finisher of the faith of David in the reigning Messiah
is the author and finisher of our faith as well

Psalm 127 is about the Lord
Solomon built 'a house' for the Lord in Jerusalem, a temple
Solomon writes the Lord must be the one to build 'the House'
Psalm 127 is at the middle of the psalms of ascent
Psalms of ascent sung by pilgrims on the way to ‘the house’ of the Lord
Solomon will build 'the house' but it is vain unless the Lord build's 'the House'

Put them together
seven- ' t w o ' -one-two- seven
Seven- ' t o ' -one-to-seven
Psalms of Ascents
Seven psalms starting 120 to 126
the center Psalm 127 Unless the Lord builds ‘the house’
Seven psalms ending 127 to 133

Psalm 127

Psalm of ascents Psalm 120 through Psalm 133
Songs sung by pilgrims on way to 'The House', the temple

7 steps up to the top 7 steps down
Shaped like a temple in a sense, the Lord at the top
At the center is the Lord building ‘
Whether his temple, his kingdom, his church, cities or families
Unless the Lord is in it , the effort is vanity

The city with foundations is built by God
The author and finisher of the faith of Abraham who looked for such a city
is the author and finisher of our faith as well

The Lord must build ‘the house’
Building, watching, waking, anxiously eating, sleeping…. All vain
Unless
The Lord is in it.
Does that mean you shouldn’t Build, watching, wake, anxiously eat, sleep?
No, but hold the anxiety part

The Lord blesses, gives inheritance
Children are a blessing and an inheritance
Hold the anxiety, you will talk to your enemies in the gate fearlessly
Talk to those outside the kingdom, share the gospel, spiritual children may surprise you
The Lord's house will go up and the gates of hell will go down

It is vain to 'watch out' for the enemy
In the Lord you may engage them with the gospel
but it is the Lord who closes the deal
and He who builds His house

72 and 127
72127
A palindrome
72 is the end of the prayers of David, the Lord reigns forever, Solomon was preview to another who is the author and perfecter of our faith
7 to 1 to 7
127 is at the center of the song of ascents, the Lord is the foundation and builder of 'the House', Solomon was preview to another city, the city that has foundations, whose designer and builder is God.

Thankfully easy to remember,
something easy enough for me to remember at least
