Puritan Board Doctor
Does anyone have an opinion regarding Lenski's New Testament commentaries? Using them regularly?
He pushes Lutheran positions. Of course, being Lutheran, that's to be expected. He probably thought the same about Reformed commentaries.
What I like is his directness of thought and the occasional pungency with which he states his ideas. None of this wishy-washy "there are good men on both sides" academic mealy-mouth-ness about him. You may not always agree with him, but you always know where he stands!
So, any comments or opinions?
