Has anyone read Ralph Smith's book Eternal Covenant? I know he is considered apart of the federal vision controversy, and was wondering if his book is worth the read?

Parts of Trinity and Reality is ok. I haven't read the book in question. I have read his other one on Van Til and Covenant (title escapes me). I read it three years ago, so I couldn't tell you what it's about.

Should you read it? Well, do you have $12 that you don't really need at the moment? Will it help you understand the FV controversy? Maybe. There is one valuable chapter in there--I did read that part of it--where he deals with Meredith Kline and Lee Irons' view of the covenant. I don't know if I would buy the book for that, though. If you ever find it in a library, photocopy that chapter.
