It being the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, I have kept my eye out for good books that might celebrate the Greatest Awakening since Pentecost. Of many that have come out, I only wish to mention three (depending on how you count). Most of you probably are already aware of the 5 Solas series, but if you are not, then you should definitely take a good look at those, published for the occasion. It is undoubtedly the crown prince of Ref500 publications. Then there is a useful-looking publication containing essays on the continuing effects of the Reformation. It does have an essay by Peter Leithart in it, which is a definite strike against, but it should have some good things in it to counterbalance. Then, last but not least, how could I resist this book? The title page alone absolutely made me buy it. I had no free will left in the matter. There are many other good ones, but I thought I'd mention these.
