Preparation [prepare] before we come to any part of God’s worship,and if we be debarred from that temple, altar, mercy seat, or Christ who
was figured out in them, know that we have a pagan’s disposition, and are
not prepared according to the preparation of the sanctuary. Lay the weight
upon ourselves and labor to have our disposition mended, still draw from
one measure of holiness to another, till we appear before the Lord in Zion.
