This is a paraphrase I have come across where no scripture was noted; what might it be drawing from, if not one place, several?
 
Philippians 2:5-7 comes to mind.

"Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant,being born in the likeness of men."
 
Yes; thanks Bill; that place is cited at the same place as this emphasized text (like it was a quote but that could be the original printer's fault), but I wondered if it was simply drawing from there of if any other places; simplest explanation the best I suppose.
