Does Roman Catholic theology allow a descent into hades? Will they show a battle for Abrahams Bossom?
Will they introduce Paul and Peter's missionary journeys or is that for sequel three.

So many questions, too bad I won't be watching it...

I remember that when the first film one came out this was when I was coming to the reality of how bad it was to depict Our Lord in any visual manner.

The Roman Catholic Catechism of Christian Doctrine (used to instruct Catholic schoolchildren in the UK before Vatican II) states that the verse in the Apostles' Creed 'He descended into hell' actually means Christ descended to limbo, where the souls of the righteous who had died before Christ were, since Christ had not yet opened the gates of heaven.

I'm generally not a fan of sequels, but I'll have to concede that that sequel was better than the original movie.
