Text: I Corinthians 4:6-13
Title: Sarcasm to the Heart
Wow! This one hit home on the Dangers of Triumphalism. Paul asks how it is that they are treated as "scum" and "refuse" but the Corinthians wanted to be treated better than they and even more poignant is that they wanted to be treated better than Christ Himself. Paul uses the method of "Irony" or "Sarcasm" to make his point regarding the Corinthians who thought better of themselves than they ought and were embarrassed by this tent making Paul.
