Quite by accident (Googling around for something else), I discovered that R. C. H. Lenski's grandson has died. He was Gerhard E. Lenski, Jr., an academic sociologist. He died yesterday, December 7, 2015, at 91.
Here are some of the Lenskis:
R. C. H. Lenski (1864-1936) - Lutheran pastor and Bible commentator
(his son) Gerhard E. Lenski, Sr. (1890-1978) - Lutheran pastor
(his daughter) Lois Lenski (1893-1974) - popular children's and young-adult author
(his grandson) Gerhard E. Lenski, Jr. (1924-2015), sociologist and educator
(his great-grandson) Richard Lenski (born in 1956) - evolutionary biologist and educator
Perhaps Lenski would not have been too pleased with his grandson and great-grandson. Reading a little, they appear to be men of the Left, shall we say.
Gerhard, Sr., and Lois were two of R. C. H. Lenski's four or five children. Don't know what happened to all the rest of them.
