Last night in my dream I made this thread (pretty scary when I'm posting on the PB in my sleep). So I feel compelled to make it in real life.
How to play: I'm posting partial lyrics from one song. The next person to post finds a major word, phrase, or idea from the last line of my lyrics and posts lyrics that begin with that same word, phrase, or idea. Like this:
("Music of the Night," Andrew Lloyd Webber)
Slowly, gently
night unfurls its splendour;
Grasp it, sense it -
tremulous and tender;
Turn your face away
from the garish light of day,
turn your thoughts away
from cold, unfeeling light;
and listen to
the music of the night
("Music of my heart" by N*SYNC)
And your love is the music of my heart
You were the one, always on my side,
Always standing by
Seeing me through
You were the song that always made me sing
I'm singing this for you
Everywhere I go, I'll think of where I've been
And all of ones you knew me better then any One ever will again
You taught me to run
You taught me to fly . . .
("I Believe I Can Fly" by R Kelly)
I believe I can fly
I believe I can touch the sky
I think about it every night and day
Spread my wings and fly away
I believe I can soar
I see me running through that open door
I believe I can fly
I believe I can fly
I believe I can fly
See I was on the verge of breaking down
Sometimes silence can seem so loud . . .
Anyone want to continue?
