Spending the Entire Day in Worship

Hi All,

I've been convinced of the Reformed view of the Sabbath for several years now, but I must confess that I believe my practice and the practice of my family falls dreadfully short of the standard we hold to on paper. I have two interrelated questions that I'd love to get some very practical input on:

1) What does it look like for you practically to spend the *entire* day in worship as the confession describes? I'd love a very practical description of what you do, especially for those with young children like myself. Being realistic, I can't get my wife and my 1.5 year old son to sit down and read Christian books or participate in family worship for the entire 8-10 free hours after church, so what should we be doing?

2) How do you define recreation? Would something like a family walk be permissible? Is there a fuller definition of recreation you can offer which can help clarify this clause?

Thank you!
