Yes, I know. But even as a background instrument the mandolin is what does it for me. I like banjos and fiddles just fine. But mandolin is where its at.

I do. I play guitar, bass, piano, ukulele, a bit of mandolin and drums. I tried the banjo but I'm not the greatest finger picker and I couldn't get that whole rolling thing down.
