Ten Reasons Why the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church Adheres to the Exclusive Use of the Inspired Psalter in the [Public and Private] Worship of God (originally published in 1890) by Rev. John T. Chalmers, D.D., is available online here.

The ARP has not authorized the exclusive singing of Psalms without instruments for a long time. The matter is left up to individual sessions to determine. There are some congregations that sing Psalms only and others that do not.
