The Expositor's Bible Commentary - 12 volumes.

As far as know is this commenatry written by different theologions and teachers from different backgrounds (Methodist, Luthern, Reformed....etc). Is it still a good and hellpfull commentary to have ? Thoughts ?

I bought the set a few years ago. I like it to some degree. I think Galatians is written by Boice. There are other good authors in there as well. However, in general, I've become increasingly dissatisified with sets like this. My limited use of this set hasn't turned up any huge doctrinal errors, but I often find it shallow.
Which is the nature of the set...66 books in 12 volumes.

But it is definitely a good set to get started with, because then you have a commentary on every book of the Bible with introductory material, and more in-depth than, say, Bible Knowledge Commentary.
