I have the first volume of Calvins Institutes in a hardback eermans, and i'm looking for the second. Anyone know where I can find one? All the newest versions are so lame, and their paperback. I duno where to get any nice hardback binding.

They come up on ebay from time to time. There is a set up for auction at the present time I believe. Not sure if I've seen them sold individually though.

Also, the John Allen edition for a little more "old school." You can still find these on ebay. I honestly haven't compared the translations.

Muller comments on the translations in his "The Unaccommodated Calvin." He has some criticisms of the Battles version, but man, I love the critical apparatus with the scripture index and all the footnotes even if they do have a point of view.

There is also the free (I believe it is the Beveridge Translation) version through E-Sword.
