One of our very own PB members, Bobby Gawthrop (aka Preach), has been writing an epic poem on the Bible.

The first several volumes of this epic poem are available to read online at Cross Way Publications. The first is called: "Genesis" (Vol. 1). According to Bobby, "The total poem should be approx. 700 pages (20-25,000) lines. Each volume stands independently (ex. "Genesis" vol. I; "Exodus" vol. II, etc)."

Watch for future installments on the rest of the Bible. You can read the Genesis through Deuteronomy volumes of his epic poem as well as some of his other poems here.

This is an interesting project, but after reading the first installment I do have one question: What makes this poem epic? Isn't it just paraphrasing and versifying scripture?
