The UK Government continues to disregard the law of God

Unless the Lord mercifully intervenes--and how this should intensify our prayer for revival and Reformation!--we should only expect more of this.

Peace,
Alan

Unfortunately, like a child, the U.S. is only a few footsteps behind our parents..... I would really like to know: When did accepting and promoting perversion and deviancy become "equality"? Maybe we should have gang-banging thugs be honorary police officers, too.......that would show how tolerant we have become...:flamingscot:

The British government started dismantling a Christian approach to law making by the '60s at the latest.

The Church of Scotland altered its relationship to the WCF to allow for liberal theology in the '20s.

The CofE has long allowed liberal theology.

These are new just further developments in a long process, which a writer for "The Spectator" has dubbed "the liberal intolerant approach".

If Christians face prosecution because of their stand on homosexuality - and no doubt it will come - what would be the best way to defend oneself in a court of law?

Some ideas:
1. Consider how Paul defended himself in the last few chapters in Acts
2. Use presuppositional apologetics:
A. Gay rights have no basis. Under evolution there is no basis for rights. Using the scriptures - the only basis for rationality - homosexuality is a sin that must be repented of.
B. What is justice in a court of law? Again the scriptures alone provide the foundation for justice, the the court has no basis to give a righteous and just judgment apart from the standard of scripture. All other judgements are irrational, immoral and foolish.

etc etc
