Wondering if any of you have read any of Richard Bauckham? If so is he any good? Have seen his books Climax of Prophecy and Theology of Revelation that look quite good. Just curious. Thanks!

No idea as to Revelation. However, he is generally a very good defender of the historicity of the Gospels as well as the divinity of Christ.

I think he's worth reading. He has some poetic faculty, which is often lacking in Biblical scholars and theologians.

That's a nice combination, when you can find it - a good biblical scholar or theologian who is also a good writer.

He is a genius and one of the best defenders of the gospel accounts. He has a slightly critical take on Jude-2 Peter, but to be fair to him he really is working with the evidence.

But yeah, almost everything has written is gold.

Generally, everything he writes is really good. But his work on Rev that you mentioned is gold!
