TLOT for $29.99...Good deal?

I'd say "pass." I have it, but rarely use it. The New International Dictionary of Old Testament Theology and Exegesis is much more helpful.
 
I would say that if you want a complete OT lexicon library, you would need to have this. However, if that is not your intent, then don't buy it. A complete OT lexicon library would include TLOT, TDOT, NIDOTTE, TWOT, HALOT, BDB, and DCH. But only an OT scholar would really need all those. If you really want good OT lexicons, but don't want all of these, then make sure you have BDB, HALOT, and NIDOTTE.
